About Us

Located in Platte County Wyoming, just outside the town of Wheatland, JAB Arms is surrounded by some of the pretty country you can find. We also fall within some of the best recreational areas for hunting, fishing, shooting, and camping.

Strangely there isn’t much within almost 100 miles for supplying the tools for those types of activities. That’s where we decided to start, by providing a need for the local area and serving the people of this great country.

Though we’re still small, were growing, and starting to fill the hole for the outdoors-man. We carry a broad range of firearms, shotguns, pistols, and rifles; accessories to modify to your taste and can get you nearly anything you can ask us for within reason. 

We also try to provide services unavailable in most small areas such as a range to test your dream guns, an opportunity to fire in fully automatic mode, the assistance you need to build your own Modern Sporting Rifle or Pistol, and so much more. 

While James grew up around guns and hunting, it wasn’t until his time in the military that he became to appreciate the joy of shooting. Learning to shoot was more of a necessity than a sport growing up but it grew into much more than that after realizing the challenge of marksmanship.

With a career in Engineering/Instrumentation and acting as a military chaplain at times, shooting sports still remains as only a hobby but one with a lot of passion. Always looking for the next challenge and being able to share that with others is his goal.

Stephanie still needs to write her bio and choose a better photo so for now we’ll just put her in jail. Just know she works as a full time mother of 4, so when she answers your phone call it may be a little funny, a little loud, or a little scary sometimes.

Stephanie has been begging for the cannon we currently have, her next goal is a real Gatling gun (not just the cheesy .22LR we shoot).
